PLAN INTRO - FEB 2026 - STRENGTH IN ARMS

"So let the storms rage high, the dark clouds rise, They don't worry me
For I'm sheltered safe within the arms of God, He walks with me
And naught of earth can harm me, For I'm sheltered in the arms of God."

Have you ever had a time in life where you felt alone, deserted, and weak in the face of life's daily battles?  Where did you turn?  How did you cope?  There's no better place to turn in those times, and every single day, than to the arms of God. God's Word reminds us throughout about "strength in arms:" God's arms, the arms of Jesus, Kings, Queens, and even common people.  This month's plan will help highlight some of those.  It is designed to daily help you draw courage, steadiness, and spiritual resilience from God’s Word. Life brings battles of every shape and size, and while we don’t always get to choose our circumstances, we can choose the strength we stand in. This plan invites you to slow down, breathe, and let Scripture become the steady grip that carries you through.

Whether you’re stepping into this month feeling strong, weary, hopeful, or uncertain, I’m grateful you’re here. I pray this month's plan helps deepen your trust, strengthen your arms for the battles ahead, and remind you that God is near, working in ways seen and unseen.

Each day, as you write the selected passages, think of it as if you're lifting spiritual “weights”—training your faith, fortifying your spirit, and reminding your soul of where your strength truly comes from. For me, writing helps settle truth into my heart, quiet my mind, and open space for God to speak. Some of the passages in this months plan are longer than usual.  If you find that a given assignment is just too long for you, choose a couple of verses that speak to you to write. Make the plan your own and allow it to guide you closer to God.

 April 2026 - Daily Scripture Writing Plan, "Names of God" Preface: This month's plan was originally shared back in July 2022.  As I attempted to create a new plan for April 2026, my mind was unsettled and my Spirit felt blocked from creating brand new content.  I prayed and sought the Lord's direction.  I felt Him leading me back to this plan from several years ago.  The names of God are timeless. I never tire of studying them.  As we are currently observing Holy Week leading up to Easter 2026, I believe this plan definitely bears repeating.  Perhaps it will help us keep our focus on the characteristics of our loving Father, even long past frilly, new Easter dresses, hats and bows.
