These are just a few common phrases about this month's topic, "The Heart." Each of these references originate from Mark Lowry's 1993 Album, "Mouth in Motion." which includes a hilarious comedy bit entitled "Open Heart Surgery." He describes an episode of a show on The Discovery Channel which involved an actual open heart surgery, and described in hilarious detail as he watched that show in amazement, and then went on to elaborate how the word "heart" is often used in modern culture as a descriptor of the seat of emotions.
