"O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; For his mercy endureth for ever." 1 Chronicles 16:34 It was a brilliantly sunny Sunday morning, and I was in a rush to get to church to finish getting ready for the day's events. There was still much to do before our church family began to arrive, eager to worship in the house of the Lord. As I traveled through town, I saw 2 city police cars parked at an intersection, running radar. "Lord, bless those officers and keep them safe," I prayed aloud as I drove by, glancing in their direction. Turning my eyes back toward the traffic light just ahead of me, I was blinded by the morning sunlight, but could see the light well enough to observe it turning RED as my car traveled through the intersection. WHAT?!?!?! Oh my word!!! I'd just ran the red light with 2 police cars sitting right there...
