Steve Green sang it on his album, "He Holds The Keys," back in 1985. Some years later, I had the privilege of singing it as a duet with a dear friend, Alan Smart, and the choir at our church, Princess Anne Plaza Baptist, in Virginia Beach, VA (USA). The lines of that chorus have stuck with me through the years. GIFTS. Birthdays. Christmas. Anniversaries. Valentine’s Day. Any ole day. Who doesn’t like to receive a gift? Very few people I can think of, as a matter of fact, probably not a single one, do not like to receive one. Sometimes they are expected as in the aforementioned holidays.
