DSW - March 2023 - "Blessings & Curses"
It is so hard to believe that Spring is just around the corner in the southeast of the USA! Warmer temperatures have already been present for some time - flowers are blooming, trees are budding and birds are singing. It's a glorious time of year (that is, unless you have allergies!). God's glory is all around us as we step into the new life Spring brings to our world. Retail establishments are in full regalia with merchandise heralding Spring holidays such as St. Patrick's Day in March and Easter in April. As I was shopping in a discount store recently, I saw a wall plaque for St. Patrick's Day with the words, "Luck of the Irish to you!," and it brought to my remembrance a conversation I had with my daughter over 20 years ago. At that time, the church we attended hosted a revival team from Life Action ministries in a one week revival.
