ONE ANOTHER Month Two: Love in Action Dear Friend, Welcome to Month Two of our ONE ANOTHER Scripture Writing Journey! Last month, we began exploring the beautiful—and sometimes challenging—instructions God gives us for living in relationship with one another. And if Month One taught us anything, I hope it was this: Biblical love is an action. Scripture doesn't tell us simply to feel love for one another. It tells us to DO something with it. Encourage one another. Pray for one another. Confess to one another. Show hospitality to one another. Serve one another. Be humble toward one another. Build one another up. Love one another deeply. John puts it beautifully: “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:18 KJV In deed and in truth. That's where we're headed this month. During these next 31 days, we'll continue writing through the New Testament's “one another” imperatives , but I want to challenge us to take ...
