DSW - NOV 2023 - MIRACLES OF JESUS (1)
Hello Fellow Writers!
I recently read and responded to a post by a new Christian which stated something to the effect of, "Do you know God? If you don't, He is REAL! Let Him work His magic in your life today!" To which I responded, "Not magic, hon. Miracles. Miracles on Miracles." I included the clip below to the song, "Miracles," by Elevation Worship.

Well, that set my wheels in motion and on a Sunday morning, I got up early and began working on this month's plan, "Miracles of Jesus (1)." (It's going to take more than 1 month to cover as many as we can, hence the "1" in parenthesis). As I've mentioned before, I sing in a gospel duet called, "By His Grace," and we were scheduled to sing in a morning worship service that day. We got to the church early enough for Sunday School, and I almost fell through the floor when I found that the lesson topic was MIRACLES OF JESUS!!! Then again in the sermon, the Pastor mentioned "miracles" more than once. I was in AWE of these "God Winks!" I got home from church that afternoon & began cooking lunch as I clicked the TV onto an early Christmas movie. You'll never guess the title - or by now - you might! "MIRACLE OF LOVE." Seriously?!?!?! That's just too many God-winks to dismiss! I was thrilled. At the end of the movie, the narrator came on as photos of 2 elderly couples showed on the screen. He explained that the movie was based on a true story, that the young couple had married and had a family, and they all looked for the GOD WINKS in their lives every day! Additionally, the Dr. who had treated him in the movie was married, had a family, and also counted GOD WINKS in his families lives every day. JUST WOW!!! I was in awe, and felt like that was confirmation upon confirmation that this is the right topic at the right time!!
So, as you write this month's plan, you'll notice it's a bit different than normal. First off, the passages are much longer on some days than others, and in some cases. they're longer than our usual writing assignments. I couldn't cut the passages short or it would not have fully told the MIRACLE story, so I left them at full length. If you can't write that much - it's okay! Read the passages in their entirety, and then write whichever verses the Holy Spirit prompts you to write. Secondly, In the cases where a miracle is recorded in more than one gospel, I have included the alternate passages. You are most welcome to study and compare those alternate passages, or write them instead of the primary one I've listed. This is YOUR Daily Scripture Writing. You do as you feel led. By the way, did you know the only miracle of Jesus that was recorded in all 4 of the gospels was The Feeding of the 5,000 (with 2 fish & 5 loaves of bread)?
As we write and study the Miracles Of Jesus in November, I pray that the Word of God will come alive to you in new and exhilarating ways. It truly is living and breathing! I write all my plans based off the King James Version of the Holy Bible, so other translations may vary in wording but should have the same context. Also, I write all plans for 31 days so that they can be used any month of the year.
Happy reading & writing in God's Word!
