December 2022 Scripture Writing Plan, "Messiah!"

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

Oh, that all the nations would sing of the glory of the newborn king...the lamb of God...our risen Savior who came to us in our humanity to save us from our sins!  

Preparing this plan has been an immense blessing to me. Immersing myself in the prophetic scriptures (first half of plan), then reading about them being fulfilled at Christ's birth (2nd half) and the heralding by the angels of his arrival on what we celebrate as Christmas day has just set my soul on fire!  I feel like I have gotten to know my savior in a way like never before - in a more personal way.  I pray that this plan will bring you closer to the baby in a manger, destined for a cross. To think that a sweet baby would grow into a man who would follow the will of His father to Golgotha's hill brings me to tears and humbles me. 

"Amazing love, how can it be
That You, my King, should die for me?Amazing love, I know it's true"

As we enter into the Christmas season, allow yourself to draw closer to the baby in the manger. Imagine yourself with the honor of picking up that sweet Jesus boy in your arms. Hold Him close. Feel His tender skin upon yours. Smell that sweet baby scent. Allow the warmth of His body to warm you. Draw Him into your heart. Snuggle Him close as you would your own child or grandchild, but go even deeper.  Know that the precious baby who was born in a place nowhere near worthy of His royalty came to hold YOU. He wants to hold you in His arms, to love you with an unimaginable love, to wipe away every tear and every stain of sin and offer you the gift of eternal life.  Our Savior. Our Messiah.  JESUS IS THE GIFT!  Have you accepted Him as Lord & Savior of your life? There is no greater gift!

Thank you for the privilege of stepping into your world every day as we break the bread of God's Word together.  It has been an experience of immense growth and incredible blessing since I wrote my first plan in February. God has been so gracious to lead me to topics and scriptures to share with you.  THANK YOU for being a part!!!

(Reminder: My plans are always written for 31 days so that they can be used any month of the year.  I also base them off of the King James Version of the Holy Bible, so other versions may offer some variations, but with the same meanings).

 April 2026 - Daily Scripture Writing Plan, "Names of God" Preface: This month's plan was originally shared back in July 2022.  As I attempted to create a new plan for April 2026, my mind was unsettled and my Spirit felt blocked from creating brand new content.  I prayed and sought the Lord's direction.  I felt Him leading me back to this plan from several years ago.  The names of God are timeless.
